FIND goes live!
In September 2014, FIND (Further Inform Neurodevelopmental Disorders) goes live. This is the first time research on six genetic syndromes has been brought together with the aim of making the findings from these studies accessible to a much wider population. FIND uses the latest technology and showcases videos, professional interviews and family stories alongside high quality written information.
Over the last twelve months a small team of researchers have been working to develop this resource with the help of Ultimate (the web developers). In particular, the website development would not have been possible without Laura Groves, Iman Hassan, Manjeet Susch and Effie Pearson, who joined the team for one year to gain experience working with individuals with rare genetic syndromes. In addition, the website has been built using clips of the individuals who have taken part in research over the last 10 years and we would like to say a huge thank you to all the participants and their families. We will be expanding and evaluating FIND over the next few months. Please support us by completing a short questionnaire about our resources. This will help us develop FIND in the future.
